We originally adopted Rorie to a lady who, sadly, developed serious health issues and had to surrender her to the shelter. Thankfully, the shelter reached out to us, and we immediately took her back into our care.
Rorie deserves stability, love, and comfort again. She’s a sweet, loyal girl who just wants someone to open their heart and home to her.
This is what her foster Mom as to say:
13 year old Rorie, terrier/beagle mix, was surrendered to LCAS when her Mom entered a care facility. Rorie has been diagnosed with Cushings Disease which is now under control with the correct amount of daily meds (will help with meds). With exercise and a weight management diet she is now a svelte 30 pounds. Rorie is somewhat of a shadow dog–she wants to be wherever her foster mom is and she looks up at her with soulful eyes. She gets along with all her foster brothers and sisters and even the family cat. She enjoys exploring the fenced backyard and rolling on her back in the grass. She is housetrained and can be trusted to have access to the home while foster mom is out. Would be best in a single family home and loves to walk.
We would love for Rorie to find finally her forever home or at least a new foster home. We are a small rescue and only want the best for Rorie. if you would like to help in her treatment and sponsor her you can do that. you can email us and we can work on a plan. She doesn’t deserve to die,
